About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in catheterization lab License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Exp with impella, balloon pump, and vents required IR experience strongly preferred No locals Description: Upcoming orientation dates are 8/17 and 8/31. EPIC experience is required. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience. Call coverage includes Stroke and STEMI. 7-8 days of call are expected in a 6-week schedule, including 1 weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning. Weekend coverage is every 5-6 weeks. The unit consists of 7 rooms, including one interventional radiology room, 2 electrophysiology rooms, one combination room, and 2 hybrid suites. Temporary pacemaker insertion, IABP, and Impella experience are required. Workers will be responsible for the insertion and programming of AICDs. Rotablator experience is also required. The unit provides care for a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily caseload includes approximately 35 visits. The unit has a collaborative interdisciplinary support system.
