Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Overland Park, KS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers solve problems, and turning customer service experience into a long-term sales and account management career.

In this Customer Success and Account Consultant role, you will work with existing customers to support renewals, introduce helpful products and services, and deliver a positive customer experience through phone, email, and virtual meetings. No prior sales experience is required. Paid training, ongoing coaching, and a supportive team environment are provided to help you succeed.

This is a great opportunity for candidates coming from hospitality, retail, banking, healthcare, customer service, or other people-focused roles who are ready to grow into a professional sales career with strong earning potential and hybrid flexibility after training.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to support satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
- Help customers maximize their subscription services and identify additional products or services that fit their needs.
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and communicate value clearly and professionally.
- Manage customer renewals, account activity, follow-up calls, and email communication.
- Make outbound calls and send emails to encourage customer engagement and support sales goals.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working toward individual performance targets.

Compensation and Benefits

- First-year on-target earnings of $40,000 to $45,000 per year through hourly pay plus commission.
- Paid training with ongoing coaching and development.
- Hybrid schedule after training, with work from home four days per week and one day in the office after approximately 90 days.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable, with customer service or people-focused experience preferred.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology and work in multiple systems.
- Self-motivated, positive, professional, and goal-oriented.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, banking, healthcare, customer service, or another customer-facing environment.
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Interest in building a long-term career in sales, customer success, or account management.
