Commercial Account Manager 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1059 Salary Range: $47,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually Position Summary The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for coordinating, managing, and supporting commercial moving and related projects from booking through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients and internal teams, ensuring jobs are properly planned, executed, and closed out in accordance with Company standards. The Commercial Account Manager plays a key role in operational coordination, customer communication, and service quality, while supporting sales, operations, and warehouse teams. Reporting Structure Reports to: Sr. Commercial Account Manager Works closely with: Dispatch, Warehouse, Sales, Project Managers, and Field Operations Key Responsibilities Account & Project Coordination Manage assigned commercial accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Coordinate all aspects of commercial moves and projects, including scheduling, staffing, equipment, and logistics. Ensure job details are accurate, complete, and communicated clearly to operations and dispatch teams. Monitor project progress and address issues proactively to ensure successful execution. Client Communication & Service Communicate with clients regarding schedules, scope, changes, and expectations. Provide updates before, during, and after projects as needed. Address client questions, concerns, or service issues and escalation when appropriate. Support customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships. Operational Support Work closely with Operations Managers, Dispatchers, and Warehouse teams to ensure operational readiness. Assist with job planning, load lists, special requirements, and site-specific considerations. Support day-of-move execution by monitoring activity and resolving issues in real time. Administrative & Documentation Duties Ensure all job documentation is completed accurately and timely. Assist with job closeout, including verification of hours, materials, and services. Maintain accurate records in Company systems. Support billing, claims, and follow-up as needed. Process & Quality Control Ensure jobs are executed in accordance with Company standards and procedures. Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement. Support standardization of commercial processes across branches. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in commercial moving, logistics, project coordination, or account management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with scheduling, CRM, or job management systems. Preferred Experience coordinating large-scale commercial moves or projects. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics. Experience working cross-functionally with sales and operations teams. Work Environment & Expectations Office-based with regular communication with field teams and clients. May require occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on project needs.
