Operating Room Nurse

Role: Operating Room Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and advocating for patient safety and outcomes. Evaluate patients pre-surgery and educate families about procedures. Ensure patient preparation, including IV therapy and surgical site verification. Participate in surgical protocols like briefing, time out, and debriefing. Respond to patient emergencies and monitor patient condition throughout shifts. Apply evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure safe care. Assess, document, and communicate patient status and care activities thoroughly. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree. Circulating experience in the Operating Room REQUIRED. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start. Strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and ability to work independently. Key Duties Evaluate and prepare patients, participate in surgical protocols, respond to emergencies, and provide education to patients and families.
