Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Sanford, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The nurse will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, including emergencies related to cardiology, gastroenterology, and neurological issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care and trauma support.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac telemetry.
- Perform assessments and document all relevant information in EHR (Cerner).
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- De-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB) preferred.
