Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager / Inventory Process Owner to design, build, and lead inventory management processes from the ground up across multiple sites. This role is responsible for establishing a scalable inventory control framework, implementing cycle count and inventory governance programs, and driving long-term inventory accuracy and operational excellence within a fast-paced warehouse and supply chain environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully built inventory processes, implemented systems or controls (often within ERP environments), and then owned ongoing execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and own end-to-end inventory management processes across 4 sites, including controls, workflows, and governance structures.
  • Build and manage cycle count programs to establish and maintain inventory accuracy and reduce variances.
  • Lead physical inventory processes, audits, reconciliations, and root cause analysis of discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain scalable inventory tracking frameworks, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
  • Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, and execution strategies for inventory process rollout and stabilization.
  • Identify inventory gaps, system/process deficiencies, and implement corrective actions and long-term solutions.
  • Partner with Warehouse, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance to align inventory standards and execution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to define inventory policies, procedures, and accountability structures.
  • Monitor inventory risks, system gaps, and operational constraints; escalate and resolve as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Support ERP or system-based inventory structure setup (e.g., item master, BOM alignment, transaction flows, reporting logic).
  • Ensure sustained ownership of inventory performance, not just project delivery, but ongoing operational success

Qualifications

  • 35+ years of Project Management, Program Management, or Operations Management experience.
  • Travel to 4 site locations in the area
  • Strong experience leading inventory, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cycle counting, physical inventories, inventory reconciliation, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and warehouse operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and project tracking tools.
  • Experience working with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems preferred.
