Your Role

• Engage in personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a diverse array of healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive care strategies that benefit your patients.
• Educate families and caregivers to ensure ongoing support outside clinical visits, fostering progress and connection.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, maintaining a seamless continuum of care.
• Document patient progress meticulously, aligning with institutional and state requirements.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in speech-language pathology through education and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications Needed

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
