Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-call orthopedic surgery coverage in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Perform various orthopedic procedures including arthroscopy, total joint replacement, joint revision or repair, tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Address orthopedic emergencies and manage patient care effectively

Qualifications

• Actively licensed in PA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
• Recent experience with at least 100 general orthopedic procedures

Working Hours

• On-call coverage from July 5 to 9

Skills

• Expertise in arthroscopy and total joint replacement
• Proficiency in knee and shoulder joint repair
• Ability to handle orthopedic emergencies
• Preferred skills in hand surgery, tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Skills in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures both with and without instrumentation
