Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Milford, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/06/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 6, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.Details\n \n General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric populations\n Level I/II Trauma Center that is also STEMI and Stroke certified\n Patient ratio of 1:5-6\n Meditech EMR required\n Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) with EOW/EOH rotation\n Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations - must be able to work all 7 days\n Requirements\n \n Active MA RN license in hand required\n BLS and ACLS certifications required\n PALS, TNCC, and de-escalation training (MOAB/CPI/AVADE) preferred\n 1+ years of ED experience required\n Meditech charting system experience required\n Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred\n Previous travel experience highly preferred\n Skilled in pediatric, psychiatric, IV therapy, respiratory, neurological, cardiac monitoring, and orthopedic emergency care\n Two references required, at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher\n No history of prior disciplinary action on nursing license allowed for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide emergency care for a broad patient population including trauma, respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and psychiatric cases\n Must pass a Pass/Fail telemetry (EKG) test and medication exam during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed\n Complete required pre-start and orientation modules, with additional annual modules\n First-time travelers may be considered depending on candidate fit\n Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 200-mile radius\n Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system\n Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-748070.
