Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse - $1,627 per week

Job Title Emergency Room RN – Travel Nurse Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an emergency department position in Henderson, North Carolina. The assignment is a 13‑week travel opportunity with 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care. Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being. Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs. Requirements 1‑2 years recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications (minimum 1.5 years of experience). Additional certifications may be required before assignment begins. Able to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must cope with stress and work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
