Job Title

Duties

• Process purchasing docs for maintenance, repair and operational services

• Develop sourcing lists and monitor supplier performance

• Resolve all pricing, invoicing, and contract related issues with the suppliers

• Negotiate pricing, terms and annual contracts with suppliers

• Analyze supplier cost/pricing information and benchmark the competition

• Manage purchase requisition queue, vendor invoice management queue

Education and Years

*Bachelors Degree (prefer Supply Chain Mgt or Procurement or Mfg-related field) AND 5+ yrs experience

***(If no BS degree, 10+ years' exp in procurement)

KEY Hard Requirements:

• "Indirect" Procurement experience (buying services, not just commodities);

• Experience with contract management

• SAP experience, advanced Excel experience

• Ability to travel (may need to go to supplier sites) – 10-15% travel

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Finance or Packaging Eng

• 5 years of procurement, materials mgt, supplier cost analysis, OR supply chain mgt exp in procurement, materials mgt, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain mgt

• Excellent working knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures

• Strong financial/cost analysis skills

• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents

• Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite

• Minimum 5 yrs of exp handling confidential, sensitive matters with discretion

Preferred Skills:

• Exp w construction sourcing, machines and heavy-duty manufacturing equipment

• Project management experience

• Specific knowledge of construction, site professional services, and facilities mgt procurement

• Exp developing and executing contracts and service level agreements
