Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Physical Therapy license in Florida required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
Experience with Meditech electronic documentation preferred.
Experience with equipment such as treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, or BITS preferred.
Ability to provide one-to-one patient care and manage long treatment sessions (approximately 1.5 hour treatments) preferred.
IRF or SNF experience preferred.

Facility type: Hospital.

Shift name: Days.
Shift details: Days 0700-1900.
Typical day-shift staffing and hours include options such as 8:00–16:30 or 9:00–17:30 depending on unit needs.
Patient ratio: generally 1:1.
Documentation system: Meditech.
Call/rotation: rotating weekends as required by unit staffing.
