Why Work Here?
You join a stable, growing construction company that offers steady, year-round work and a clear path for career advancement. The organization provides comprehensive training, giving people real opportunities to learn a trade and build long-term careers, with a strong preference for promoting from within. You can grow into lead installer and foreman roles, supported by a substantial project backlog and work opportunities across multiple states, including Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona for those interested in transferring. After transitioning to permanent status, you become eligible for benefits and insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with a company match, along with regular performance reviews that can lead to pay increases based on attendance, production, attitude, and communication. The culture emphasizes giving chances to motivated individuals, supporting professional development, and maintaining a collaborative environment where hard work and reliability are recognized.
Work Environment
Work is primarily on commercial construction sites, including projects such as large institutional facilities. The current project is at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs with an expected duration of around three months, with the possibility of extended work on projects in the Denver metro area. Crews typically range from 5 to 20 people, and project sites often last from 6 to 12 months. You will work at significant heights, sometimes 300 feet or more in the air on swing stages, and regularly use equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolding, and forklifts. The environment is highly collaborative, with an expectation that team members communicate clearly, contribute to problem-solving, and bring potential solutions along with any issues they identify. You will work alongside people from diverse backgrounds and are expected to maintain professionalism and respect on site. New hires complete a six-hour safety orientation at the office in Englewood, CO (unpaid) before starting on-site training. During the first two weeks, you train on parts and mockups to understand panel systems and fastening methods, starting as part of the ground crew and progressing to swing stage work as training is completed.
