Job Summary

B&A is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting the US Courts OSCAR program. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) processes, Process Automation, and a proven track record of team leadership . The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable SSO implementations while automating manual processes. You will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing user authentication processes while leading a team of analysts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

· Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SSO solutions for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.

· Evaluate and document existing authentication systems and recommend enhancements.

· Collaborate with IT and Security teams to integrate SSO with third-party applications and platforms.

· Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for SSO-related projects.

· Develop use cases, workflows, and process maps to support the SSO lifecycle.

· Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.

· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

· Oversee the team’s workload, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

· Provide guidance on best practices, tools, and techniques for effective business analysis.

· Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of SSO initiatives with organizational goals.

· Conduct workshops and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

· Automate manual processes for process efficiency..

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on SSO or identity and access management systems.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of business analysts or similar roles.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SSO technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and tools (e.g., Login.gov, Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD).
• Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
• Some automation experience (e.g., Power Automate or UI Path)
• Experience working in agile and waterfall project environments.

Desired Skills

• Strong background in data analysis and reporting , with experience using tools like Tableau or Power BI.S
• Strong Understanding of Security best practices
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience with international deployments of SSO solutions across geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party SSO solutions.
