About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT/RTR Certifications: ACLS & BLS Must-Have: Critical Care / Angio (IR) experience Description: The unit specializes in Angiography and Interventional Radiology procedures. It includes 3 angiography labs: 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR. The patient ratio is 1:1. Staffing typically includes a Lead Tech, RN, and ARRT/RTR, RCIS in teams of 3-4 personnel. Key equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. The documentation system utilized is EPIC Cupid. Scheduling consists of 4 ten-hour shifts with on-call requirements. Experience in critical care and angio/IR, including stroke and trauma care, is necessary. Procedures performed on the unit include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma. The dress code requires royal blue and black for RNs and navy blue and black for Technologists. This facility is recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center.
