Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour shifts, Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies according to protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Document all patient interactions and care delivered in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience required.
• Current SC or Multi-State Compact RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
