Experienced Sign Fabricator

Job Description

SCA Sign Group is looking for an experienced sign fabricator to join our busy sign shop. We are looking for a candidate to assist with the the tasks and responsibilities listed below. If you do not have previous sign fabrication experience PLEASE DO NOT APPLY! * Plans, prepares, and uses materials to be cut in a matter to keep waste to a minimum * Operates metal cutting equipment to accurately cut materials to job specifications * Operates welding equipment to weld sign parts together * Implements and maintains quality control and safety during material handling, cutting, and welding * Sands, grinds, polishes, and cleans cut materials * Layout materials to be used for skinning/covering sign structure * Operates Accubend Channel Letter Machine and Clincher * Operates CNC Router * Ability to fabricate using various types of sign materials - wood, metal, acrylic, diabond, coroplast, etc. * Familiar with pylon signs, channel letters, sign cabinets, FCO letters, ADA signage and more * Bends and shapes sign parts by hand or by using brakes according to job specifications * Drills, rivets, screws, or adheres sign parts together * Repair products by dismantling, straightening and reshaping. * Operates skid steer for moving and positioning materials and supplies * Maintains a safe working environment * Maintains a clean and orderly work area * Complete all Tasks, and To-Dos as assigned by your supervisor * Experience with Matthews Paint Systems Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Must have a valid Drivers License and/or ID and proof of legal work status.
