Mechanical Engineer – Solutions Group Location: Akron, OH (Primarily In-Office, 60–70%) Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (DOE) Department: Engineering & AutoCAD/Drafting – The Solutions Group Reports To: Tom Mickley About the Role The K Company, Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our high‑performing Solutions Group. This is an exciting opportunity for early‑career engineers to gain hands‑on experience across HVAC design‑build projects, energy management, drafting, and sales engineering support in a commercial and light commercial environment. This role blends office work with regular field activity, including site surveys, equipment inspections, and client meetings. You’ll be mentored by credentialed professionals including a licensed PE and a Certified Energy Manager, building the skills to lead projects and grow your career.
