NOW HIRING: REGISTERED DIETICIAN

Aventura at the Bay

Aventura at the Bay is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and resident-focused Registered Dietician to join our healthcare team and support the nutritional health and well-being of our residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as needed.

• Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on residents' medical conditions, nutritional needs, preferences, and goals.

• Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight, food intake, and overall progress.

• Recommend appropriate therapeutic diets, supplements, and nutritional interventions.

• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, medical, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members.

• Participate in care plan meetings and communicate nutritional recommendations.

• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.

• Monitor residents at nutritional risk and implement appropriate interventions.

• Review menus to ensure they meet residents' nutritional and therapeutic needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Assist with quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and resident care.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field .

• Registered Dietician (RD/RDN) credential required.

• Current state licensure or registration as required.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare.

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and geriatric nutrition preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
