Sr. Software Engineer - Foundation

Salary: $138,400 - 173,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience building web-based applications, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• We need strong expertise in designing complex data models that satisfy business and compliance needs.
• We are seeking a background in developing web applications, preferably within an agile SaaS setting.

• We will have you develop a deep understanding of our mixed portfolio segments, including affordable housing and student housing, so you can own the foundation of these areas.
• We will rely on you to support our ongoing business segments, including Community Association, Commercial, and NYC.
• You will design and deliver scalable, reliable, and straightforward web-based solutions to complex business challenges, using existing systems, refactoring, partner integrations, or new builds when appropriate.
• You will mentor and guide other software engineers.
• You will implement new functionality and improve existing features to maximize performance.
• You will collaborate closely with engineers, QA, product owners, and designers, sharing feedback and contributing to a high-trust, high-performing team.
• You will work in an agile manner, breaking down large problems into small deliverables and executing efficiently while limiting work in progress.
• You will research emerging technologies and trends, then share recommendations with the team.
• You will uphold engineering excellence through best practices, in-depth code reviews, healthy technical debate, and knowledge sharing.
• You will prioritize quality by using test-driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration to deliver robust software and quickly resolve bugs.
