Registered Nurse Surgery

Registered Nurse General Surgery OR Start Date: Immediate Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm Estimated Pay Package: $1900 (including stipend) Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical procedure. Assist surgical teams during general surgery operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Monitor patients' vital signs, comfort, and overall status pre-, intra-, and post-operative. Administer medications and provide care as per physician instructions and standard protocols. Ensure compliance with infection control practices and safety standards within the OR. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation related to patient care and surgical interventions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Minimum one year of experience working in an Operating Room environment, preferably in General Surgery. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
