Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Stone Oak, TX We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Technician for our fast‑paced Internal Medicine department. Responsibilities Serve as liaison between internists and clients regarding patient histories, care instructions, lab results, and updates. Communicate with clients through phone, email, and in‑person conversations. Assist with endoscopic and ultrasound procedures, fill prescriptions, take X‑rays, and obtain lab samples. Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills required. Set up constant rate infusions (CRI). Calculate all medical math, including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.). Induce, monitor, and recover from anesthesia. Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures. Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway). Clean and maintain equipment following procedures. Discharge IM patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as insulin injection, SQ fluid, and feeding tube demonstrations.
