Assistant Football Coach

Summary Lakewood High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our athletics program as a Varsity Football Assistant Coach. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with student-athletes, fostering their skills both on and off the field. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive team environment, promote sportsmanship, and help develop the overall football program. Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning and executing daily practice sessions. Collaborate with coaching staff to develop game plans and prepare the team for competition. Assist with individual and group instruction to student-athletes to enhance their performance and skill development. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies, schedules, and expectations. Requirements Previous coaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and rules. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain. #J-18808-Ljbffr
