**Required Experience & Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience, with a requirement for Level 1 trauma experience and experience with high acuity orthopedic patients. - Experience in post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients, including total joints, ORIF any fracture, laminectomy, hand surgery, bladder suspension, some gynecological and eye surgeries. - Must be skilled in giving blood products and assisting with mobility. - Charting System Experience: Epic (required). **Preferred Experience:** - Previous charge experience. **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Required Skills:** - Blood Product Administration - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Ortho trauma - PCA (Patient Controlled Analgesia) - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Peripheral nerve block catheters - PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Surgical drains - Total joint replacement - Wound Care/Wound Vac **Licensure:** - Must have both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license in hand at time of submission. **Additional Requirements:** - Must be willing to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
