Construction Technology Trainer

Our client is hiring a trainer to help contractors and project teams get full value from the construction technology they rely on. You will be out in the field and online delivering training, solving problems on active job sites, and guiding customers from their first session through long term success. It is a hands on, customer facing role with a lot of variety and direct influence over how customers adopt the technology.

Our client is a construction technology partner serving the building construction industry with Trimble field solutions. They provide hardware, software, training, technical support, and specialized services that help contractors, construction managers, trade partners, and building owners improve productivity, coordination, accuracy, and project delivery across the construction lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging on site and virtual instructor led training for customers on Trimble hardware, software, workflows, and related construction technology.
• Lead technical presentations that show customers how these solutions improve productivity, accuracy, coordination, and field execution.
• Partner with the operations team to understand each customer's implementation requirements, objectives, training scope, and expected outcomes.
• Support customers before, during, and after training, answering questions and helping them work through workflow challenges and field issues.
• Maintain accurate customer, training, activity, and opportunity records in Salesforce.
• Identify and position additional training, accessories, services, or technology that can benefit the customer, and generate qualified leads and insights for the sales team.
• Stay current on Trimble products, updates, workflows, best practices, and construction technology trends.

What You Bring

• Two or more years of experience in the construction industry, such as MEP, architectural, structural, commercial construction, or project management, or at least three years delivering training for construction related products or technology.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine interest in helping customers learn and apply new technology in the field.
• A self starter who is highly independent, organized, and able to manage responsibilities with limited day to day supervision.
• Ability to stay flexible, resilient, and effective in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools, plus experience using CRM or opportunity management systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 80% using a company provided vehicle, primarily within Maryland, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
• Ability to work from home when needed or as directed by management.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
• Eligibility to work in the US for any employer (sponsorship is not available).

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Trimble solutions or related construction technology platforms.
• A background supporting contractors, construction managers, trade partners, or building owners.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of construction layout processes, whether manual or automated.
