BC/BE Medical Oncologist (or a Hematologist/Oncologist)
Medical Center is currently seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist (or a Hematologist/Oncologist) to join another provider in a multispecialty group. Inpatient and outpatient services are available. The position offers a MGMA competitive salary accompanied by lucrative productivity incentives. Assistance with medical education debt is provided, along with comprehensive employee benefits. Medical Center is a regional medical center with two hospital campuses and more than 130 active physicians. The facility is the largest medical center in Southeast Missouri with outreach Rural Health Clinics throughout its six-county region. In particular services include ambulance, cardiac pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment center, diabetes education, diagnostic and interventional radiology, emergency center, gastroenterology, hospitalist program, home health, mental health, orthopedics, pain management center, P.A.R.C. (physical assessment and rehabilitation center), pediatrics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, physical rehabilitation, pulmonology, rheumatology, sleep study center, surgery, volunteer services, and women's health & maternity services.
Our medical staff is comprised of more than 130 active physicians. Their areas of specialization include allergy, anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, critical care, emergency medicine, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, pathology, pediatrics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, psychiatry, pulmonology, radiation oncology, radiology, rheumatology, sleep medicine, and urology.
Our community is a town of 18,000 residents, with 40,000 residents in Butler County. While the city has a population of 18,000, the hospital provides care for patients in a 90-mile radius around the city, thereby serving a population of approximately 180,000. Located among the foothills of the Ozarks, Poplar Bluff is surrounded by a national forest, peaceful lake, and fertile farmland.
