Electrical Design Technician Intermediate

Qualifications:
Heres what youll need:
High school graduate or equivalent
2%2B years experience with AutoCAD
Proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements. Including items such as one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, electrical plan view drawings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication, organization and self-performance skills
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including remote environment.

Ideally, youll also have:
Two-year Associates Degree in relevant field, such as electrician, instrumentation & controls, construction
Exposure to National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC)
Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilities

Additional Details:
This is a hybrid position and may require periodic travel to client sites
Preference to candidates located in home office locations; such as Portland Hillsboro, Corvallis OR; Tempe AZ; Pittsburgh PA.
Site work will require field mobility including walking for surveys, stairs, access platforms, protective wear, etc.
Must pass background check, drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

What youll do:
Utilize AutoCAD
Prepare drawings using computer aided drafting and basic design of electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications services to manufacturing tools, using appropriate design criteria.
Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workload and deliver packages, often under tight deadlines.
