Cleaner (PM Shift, Part-Time)

Summary: Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for buildings at designated facilities.


IMPORTANT: THIS POSITION IS ONLY 6 HOURS PER WEEK

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Total Weekly Hours: 6 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:

1. Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
2. Clean and disinfect equipment
3. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
4. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
5. Mix various cleaning agents
6. Remove garbage and recycling
7. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
8. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
9. Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
10. Identify and report possible repairs
11. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
12. Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior experience helpful.


Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 30 pounds.
