Software Engineer

Salary: $92,040 - 174,840 per year Requirements:

• We want you to have experience as a software engineer on complex software initiatives.
• We look for strong coding ability and practical development experience in languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, along with solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
• We expect familiarity with software development methodologies and a track record of building scalable, resilient solutions.
• We value hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and RESTful web services.
• We look for knowledge of solution architecture, including microservices, containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
• We expect a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• We value certification in one or more hyperscaler platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, or the willingness to earn these certifications with us.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices is preferred.

• We design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe.
• We refactor legacy code so modern cloud and mobile applications can connect seamlessly with core mainframe data.
• We monitor the architecture and tune code to preserve and improve mainframe performance.
• We debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep critical applications running reliably.
• We extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services as part of our modernization efforts.
