Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Telemetry RNs are needed for per diem at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center! Applications will be sent to clinical! Please ensure information is updated and correct to avoid delays. Candidates with 2 or more attendance/performance issues or clinician pipeline cancellations are required to provideadditional references or a written statement demonstrating their improvement before proceeding. There must be a minimum of 6 months between the last issue and the submission date. It is at the discretion of the AM and clinical team whether to proceed with the application if any past issues are on file. We are prioritizing candidates based on the best fit! Requirements • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a staff Tele RN or 2 years as a travel Tele RN • Work Settings - MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry • BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) • Preferred: NIH, CPI • Active RN License • Must be willing and comfortable to float to lower acuity based on facility need - MS, MS/Tele, ED Holding • Active RN License • Epic Experience • 2 Professional References (Minimum of 1 supervisor) within last 12 months Orientation Details • Orientation will not be provided! • Clinician will move to PDW once cleared. They must be prepared to begin working independently and have the ability to integrate quickly. • Pre-Start Modules - 8 Hours Shift Details • Nights, 1900 to 0730 • Pre-booking available via the Shifts App • Clinicians may submit availability for us to proactively market to facilities • Cancellation Rule - Clinician may be removed from the pool if they cancel 2 shifts within 24 hours of shift start time in a 30 day period! Additional Details • MemoiralCare Separation Period - 18 Months. Previous staff/travel will be sent to facility for approval! • Scrubs - Navy Blue • Patient Ratio - 1:4 Cardiac Monitoring, 1:5 Medical Surgical level of care • Unit Information/Patient Diagnoses - Specializes in care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring, medical, and surgical interventions. Common medical and surgical cases include but are not limited to: acute arrhythmia, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery patients, percutaneous coronary intervention, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and other cardiovascular related conditions. Provides care to patients with other surgical/medical conditions.
