Intern /Part-time Front Desk Assistant

AES Campus, Akron, OH | Part-Time | Non-Exempt

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist / HR Administrative Support professional to serve as the welcoming face of our Akron office and provide day-to-day administrative support to our executive and corporate teams. Ideal role for a local student to gain real-world exposure and work with a fast-growing, local company!

Schedule & Location

· Location: AES Campus, Akron, OH (in-person, on site)

· Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

· Flexibility: Ability to stay later on in-house event days as needed

· Pay: $15.00 per hour

What You Will Do

Front Desk and Office Support

· Greet visitors, employees, and guests in a warm and professional manner

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls and general email inquiries

· Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk and lobby area

· Monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies as needed

Mail and Deliveries

· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages

· Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail and shipments

· Order office supplies and track deliveries

Meeting and Event Support

· Prepare conference rooms for meetings, including setup and cleanup

· Coordinate catering or refreshments for meetings as requested

· Support planning and logistics for company events and employee gatherings

· Assist with setup and breakdown for events, which may require staying later than the standard schedule

Administrative Support

· Provide general administrative support to the executive and corporate teams as needed

· Support internal communications, including posting notices, updating bulletin boards, or distributing announcements

What We Are Looking For

· A positive, professional attitude and strong customer service mindset

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

· Comfortable using standard office software (Microsoft Office or similar)

· Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus but not required

· Must be reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to occasionally stay later on event days

Additional Details

This is an in-person position based at the AES campus building in Akron, OH. Remote work is not available.
