Endocrinology Physician Manhattan, NY

Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Endocrinologist

A growing, multispecialty outpatient medical group in the Manhattan, New York metropolitan area is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Endocrinologist to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role focuses on managing a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions while supporting population health initiatives and improving long-term patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient history, perform physical exams, and maintain accurate medical records
• Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions
• Develop comprehensive, cost-effective diabetes management plans with multidisciplinary support
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing endocrine care
• Provide preventive care recommendations and lifestyle counseling
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and specialists
• Participate in shared on-call phone coverage (approximately every six weeks)
• Engage in quality improvement and medical staff education programs

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent with U.S. training)
• Completion of U.S. residency in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration (or eligibility)
• Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid enrollment
• BLS or ACLS certification
• Strong communication skills and comfort with EMR systems

Compensation

$300,000 $470,050 annually
