Salesforce Technical Architect

Salary: $200,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in technical roles, including 4+ years designing Salesforce solutions at enterprise scale
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, security, integration, and performance
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and how Salesforce fits into a broader technology landscape
• Experience designing mission-critical systems for scalability, reliability, and security
• Proven technical leadership and ability to influence engineering teams and executives
• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, plus working knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with our technical stack: Salesforce multi-cloud, React/JS web applications, Azure APIs, ETL pipelines, Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD
• Experience with AI/ML enablement, customer intelligence or CDP, and data governance
• Experience enabling AI/ML capabilities and copilots on the platform preferred
• Experience with non-native web applications or user interfaces built on Salesforce preferred
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or environments growing through mergers and acquisitions preferred
• Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification, held or actively in progress, preferred

• Own the end-to-end solution and technical architecture of our Salesforce platform, keeping it reliable, scalable, secure, and performant at enterprise scale
• Design the foundation for AI-driven capabilities and customer intelligence, and lead the technical roadmap supporting our AI-driven sales-enablement strategy
• Align Salesforce architecture with our enterprise architecture and standards, partnering with security, data, and infrastructure teams on compliance and resilience
• Define our data model, security and sharing architecture, and integration strategy, including API-led and event-driven approaches
• Plan for large data volumes, new integrations, and platform health as our business grows and completes acquisitions
• Establish technical standards, design patterns, governance, and environment and release strategies
• Lead design and code reviews to maintain quality and promote best practices
• Guide major design decisions, build-versus-buy evaluations, and technical risk management
• Mentor architects, developers, and administrators while strengthening technical capabilities across the team
• Partner with the Product Owner, Senior Engineering Manager, and security, data, and infrastructure teams to maintain the platforms health and technical alignment

We are seeking a senior, hands-on technical leader to set the direction of our Salesforce platform and ensure it scales with our business. The role reports to our Senior Engineering Manager, CRM, and has no direct reports; instead, it provides technical leadership and mentorship to architects, developers, and administrators. The position works closely with our Product Owner, senior management, and security, data, and infrastructure teams to keep the platform healthy and aligned with our broader enterprise architecture.
