About the Role

As Senior Director, Software Engineering, you will provide leadership for large-scale engineering teams while driving technical strategy, innovation, and delivery excellence. You will partner with stakeholders, customers, and engineering leaders to develop resilient teams, advance product strategy, and deliver impactful technology solutions that support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Leading large offshore resources to solve complex business needs

• Developing leaders to build a resilient leadership team, encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations

• Making long or short-term decisions on Product developments as they relate to overall strategy

• Having overall management accountability, including performance management, hiring, and coaching of staff

• Ensuring teams are knowledgeable in the critical aspects of their roles, and providing clear feedback and training opportunities

• Writing advanced complex code for computer systems, acting as a senior source of expertise, performing reviews, and leading development

• Leading Technical strategy and direction, and participating in the the development and evolution of architecture

• Working directly with customers and end-users, and providing design input across a product

Requirements

• Have excellent knowledge and experience in project planning and management tools

• Have experience in staff resourcing and management, including partnering and offshoring resourcing models

• Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, and be able to think analytically

• Be expert in development languages, including JAVA_J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C_C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX and .Net

• Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience

• Be very proficient in database technology, design and manipulation, optimization, and best practice

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $156,700 - $290,900. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
