Mixing Machine Operator – Heavy Manufacturing

Premier Staffing Unlimited is hiring multiple Mixing Machine Operators for a heavy manufacturing facility in the Macon, GA area.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing experience who are looking for steady, long-term employment with an opportunity for increased pay after successfully completing the probationary period.

This is a hands-on, physical manufacturing position working around rubber and raw materials. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dirty industrial environment , performing physically demanding tasks, and working a rotating schedule .

What You'll Do

As a Mixing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial mixing equipment used throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate machinery and production equipment on the manufacturing floor.
• Monitor and operate computer-controlled mixing equipment.
• Maintain mixing machines and related equipment with care.
• Verify that the correct rubber, chemicals, and materials match production paperwork.
• Accurately measure and monitor materials throughout the mixing process.
• Monitor equipment and quickly respond to production or material issues.
• Troubleshoot rubber that becomes stuck in hopper doors or equipment and safely remove material before burning or damaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot batch operations, including cutting or pulling rubber when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production and material documentation.
• Keep the assigned work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Identify and remove expired inventory from the worksite.
• Assist with forklift operation when needed and properly trained/authorized.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates should:

• Have previous manufacturing or industrial experience .
• Be comfortable working around machinery and heavy production equipment.
• Be able to work a rotating schedule , including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Be able to consistently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Be comfortable working in a dirty manufacturing environment with strong industrial/rubber odors .
• Be dependable and able to maintain good attendance.
• Be able to follow detailed safety and production procedures.
• Have strong attention to detail when handling materials and measurements.
• Be willing to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus but is not required.

Pay & Opportunity

Starting pay with an increase following successful completion of the probationary period.
