About this opportunity

Our Laredo team is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join their team! The role involves carrying out diverse administrative and office support tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department, supporting managers and supervisors.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $16.00 to $18.00 an hour.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
• Enter and maintain visitors sign in system.
• Greets clients and employees at the front desk and ensures that they receive the best in customer care.
• Gather information, maintain updated and complete weekly key performance indicator reports.
• Manage shipping and receiving of mail carriers as well as proper communication to receiving parties.
• Manage employee and driver parking permits.
• Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
• Supports team with weekly follow up with new hires on credentialing process.

What makes you a strong candidate for this position?

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
