Job Title: Lumper- 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM

The Lumper will be responsible for unloading, sorting, and staging goods from incoming trucks. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities :

• Unload & Load Trucks : Assist with unloading goods from inbound trucks and loading goods onto outbound trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  
  
• Organize and Sort Inventory : Sort products by category, size, and type, and place them in the appropriate storage locations in the warehouse.
  
  
• Stacking & Palletizing : Properly stack and palletize merchandise, ensuring that products are safely secured for storage or shipment.
  
  
• Quality Control : Inspect goods for damage and report any issues to management.
  
  
• Maintain Safety Standards : Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  
  
• Assist in Inventory Management : Support the team in regular stock checks and inventory audits.
  
  
• Housekeeping : Keep work areas clean and organized, removing debris and ensuring safe walking surfaces.
  
  
• Collaborate with Team : Work alongside other warehouse staff, including material handlers, forklift operators, and supervisors, to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  
  
• Other duties as assigned : Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to ensure operational needs are met.

Qualifications :

• Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks that require physical stamina and movement.
  
  
• Experience : Previous warehouse or labor experience is preferred but not required.
  
  
• Skills : Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  
  
• Work Environment : Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures depending on the warehouse conditions.
  
  
• Shift Flexibility : Must be willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

• This position requires some manual labor during periods of downtime, which may involve lifting and moving inventory manually
• Candidates must be comfortable with physical work and manual handling responsibilities
