Job Description and Position Requirements Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: (M-F) 6:15am 2:45pm Job Summary: Serves as the Inventory Assistant for Surgery, responsible for ordering and maintaining an adequate inventory, establishing and maintaining inventory controls in collaboration with the OR Control Inventory Specialist. Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Good interpersonal, organizational ability, communication, human relation and decision-making skills required. Physical Demands Constant (67%-100%) - reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing Frequently (34%-66%) - lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping Occasionally (1%-33%) - climbing (stairs, ladders, poles, etc.), balancing, crouching, crawling Employment Each St. Tammany Health System staff member is expected to conduct himself or herself according to our mission, vision and values.
