About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Pay: $46 - $46/hour Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions for expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience required One (1) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse strongly preferred Licenses & Certifications: BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire Current knowledge of wound and ostomy management preferred National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
