Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Under the direction of the Manager, the Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform, to push, lift, stack, or move products or materials by performing the following duties. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect. Responsibilities Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device Inventories materials on work floor and in warehouse Loads or unloads materials onto/off pallets or lifting device Must be able to document information as per SOP Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training 1-2 years of hi-lo driving experience Must be able to read/write English Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely Role’s Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment We proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!
