Assignment Bonus: $5,000 for completing the 13‑week assignment, subject to applicable terms and eligibility requirements. Responsibilities: Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, allergies, and proper dosing. Provide clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Prepare, compound, and verify chemotherapy medications using established safety standards. Monitor medication therapies and recommend appropriate clinical interventions. Support safe and effective medication use for acute‑care patients. Provide drug information and medication‑related education to patients and clinical staff. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and required documentation. Follow sterile‑compounding, infection‑control, and hazardous‑drug handling procedures. Comply with all state, federal, and facility pharmacy regulations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes. Requirements: Active and unrestricted Nebraska Pharmacist license. Recent acute‑care or hospital pharmacy experience.
