PET/CT Technologist

About the Role Our outpatient imaging center is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused PET/CT Technologist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who values a steady daytime schedule, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to provide high‑quality diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will perform PET and CT imaging studies, ensuring accuracy, safety, and an exceptional patient experience. You’ll work closely with radiologists, nurses, and support staff in a fast‑paced but supportive outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT scans and acquire high‑quality diagnostic images following established protocols. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safe handling, dosing, and documentation. Provide patient care by educating patients, addressing concerns, and maintaining a calm, professional environment. Maintain equipment and safety standards, performing QA/QC checks and following radiation safety guidelines. Collaborate with clinical teams, communicating effectively with radiologists and staff to support efficient workflow. Qualifications ARRT (N) and ARRT (CT) certification required. Current Texas MRT license. Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience in a clinical setting (outpatient experience preferred). Strong patient‑care skills and comfort working with diverse populations.
