Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, educational aide, or similar school-based support role preferred
• Comfortable working with students of various ages, backgrounds, and abilities
• Familiarity with classroom management, instructional support, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working alongside educators and specialists
• Adept at maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school and district protocols
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities to individuals and small groups
• Support students in accessing the curriculum, reinforcing lessons, and encouraging participation
• Help promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that fosters academic success and social-emotional growth
• Aid in the management of classroom routines, transitions, and student behavior
• Provide additional support to students with special needs, ensuring their comfort and engagement throughout the school day
• Assist with clerical tasks such as preparing instructional materials and organizing supplies
