Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Location: Rapid City, SD

Position Details:

• Type: Traveler Position
• Experience: Minimum 1 year required with Neuro Interventional Radiology experience
• Travelers must reside 100 miles away from the facility

Patient Care:

This role involves participation in the Stroke Team. ICU experience is required.

Patient Ratios:

RN to Patient Ratio: 1:1

Certifications and Qualifications:

• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ARRT
• Preferred Education:
  • Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in sterile technique/scrub technique
• Experience with Siemens machines and knowledge of Neuro IR procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system (required), Epic Cupid (preferred)
• Experience in stroke care and circulation for procedures

Unit Support:

• CNA: Not applicable
• Charge Nurse: Monday to Friday, 0600-1630
• Phlebotomy: Not applicable
• IV/VAT Team: Not applicable

Orientation and Scheduling:

• Orientation: 5 days (8 hour shifts)
• Shift: 10 hour shifts
• Call: Every third weekend
• Weekend rotation and holiday expectations to be discussed during the interview
• Time off approvals must go through the Manager
