This position will encompass Medical Director responsibilities for the PHP/IOP program for adolescents and adults. Additionally, this candidate will supervise APPs.If you’re driven, passionate, and ready to thrive in an environment that rewards expertise and vision, we want to hear from you.What you will do:Provide physician leadership and psychiatric treatment to a Partial Hospitalization Program and a Psychiatric outpatient clinicWork on-site 5 days per week with PHP/IOP and clinic patients.Supervise Advanced Practice ProvidersConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.Monitor and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach.Administer and manage psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide care recommendations.Educate and support patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.Qualifications:DEA registration requiredBoard certification or Board eligible in Psychiatry RequiredCurrent Illinois medical license required or pendingBenefits:Career Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and DevelopmentVarious Medical, Dental, and Vision optionsTuition ReimbursementCMEFree Parking at designated locationsWellness Program Savings PlanHealth Savings and Flexible Spending AccountRetirement Options with Company MatchPaid Time OffCommunity Involvement OpportunitiesSummaryLocation: LOO Naperville 1335 N Mill StreetType: Full time
