Job Summary Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. A01-Entry : Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. This position is for Weekend shift. Friday - Sunday 5:30am - 6 pm in Knoxville. Job Responsibilities Works in one of the designated roles: Saw Operator, Painter, Assembler, Packer Performs the necessary duties of a packer Works with the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders Interprets instructions and responds to management’s direction Maintains safety rules throughout shift Follows all safety practices and guidelines while working including keeping work area clean and free of safety hazards Understands production workflow processes Selects and uses appropriate equipment, supplies and tools Job Requirements High school diploma or GED At least one year of work-related experience Preferred Experience in a production environment preferred Works autonomously and collaboratively in a fast past environment while maintaining a professional and upbeat attitude Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Applies basic mathematical principles such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions Stands for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations Performs repetitive motion work including hands, arms, and wrists 100% of the time with or without reasonable accommodations Tolerates odors, fumes and airborne particles from machines and chemicals with or without reasonable accommodations Tolerates various levels of heat with or without reasonable accommodations Tolerates moderate to loud noise levels with or without reasonable accommodations Lifts up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations Walks throughout a large facility with or without reasonable accommodations Works overtime and weekends based on business needs At Bailey International, we prioritize culture and seek candidates who embody our core values: Passion, Teamwork, Creativity, and Delivery.
