Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and prior cath lab experience with advanced cardiac device support.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a community hospital and regional referral center
• Facility is a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call required for weekends approximately one to two times per month
• Call requirements of a minimum of 10-12 shifts per month
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
• AHA certifications required
• 1-2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with Interventional Radiology (IR), Impella, IABP, PCI, and atherectomy required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Scrubs provided by the unit
• Permanent residence cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering access to outdoor recreation, mountain and lake scenery, and proximity to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
