Each client works with a dedicated printing project manager who oversees planning, graphic design, typesetting, printing, bindery, and mailing. This integrated approach allows FolgerGraphics to control every stage of production, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.Role Description The Account Manager role is a full-time position based in Hayward, CA. Day-to-day, the Account Manager will manage a portfolio of client accounts, serve as the primary point of contact, and coordinate printing projects from initial inquiry through delivery. Responsibilities include gathering project requirements, preparing estimates, overseeing production timelines, and communicating with internal teams such as design, prepress, printing, bindery, and mailing. The Account Manager will monitor project status, resolve issues, ensure quality standards, and proactively manage client expectations. This role also involves identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement of customer service processes.QualificationsClient relationship management and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and provide proactive service.Project coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple print jobs, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced production environment.Knowledge of printing processes (web, sheetfed, digital), bindery, and mailing workflows, or strong willingness to learn these technical areas.Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with clients and internal teams and documenting project requirements.Strong attention to detail and quality focus, with the ability to review proofs, spot issues, and coordinate corrections before final production.Problem-solving and negotiation skills to address schedule changes, production challenges, and cost considerations with clients and internal stakeholders.Prior experience in print, marketing, or related industries is preferred; familiarity with graphic design concepts and file preparation is a plus but not a requirement.
