Job Title: Set Up Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to maintain and set up plastic injection mold machines. This role involves ensuring that machines are running efficiently during production, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that equipment is safe and functional for operators.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on both mechanical and electronic machines.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment, documenting all repairs and maintenance work internally.
• Calibrate equipment, set up and ensure machines are running smoothly, and identify necessary repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and setup tasks.
• Monitor equipment to ensure it is functionally safe and operational.
• Collaborate with maintenance, tool making, and calibration departments for high-level tasks.
• Set up 2-3 machines daily, which can take 1.5-4 hours each.
• Diagnose shutdown causes, remove or replace parts, and restart or shut down machines as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintaining and setting up injection mold equipment.
• Degree in a maintenance-related field such as Automation, Robotics, Electronics, Maintenance, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance tasks on electronic or mechanical equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• RJG training (preferred).
• Additional relevant training (preferred).

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vadnais Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
