Key Responsibilities: As a Pharmacist at VPI Compounding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include: Thoroughly review and execute physician's prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness and legality. Verify prescription orders and proactively seek clarifications to guarantee accuracy. Complete the final verification of prescription orders, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Actively participate in training and mentoring initiatives for the professional development of the team. Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program. Current state pharmacist license in good standing. Have active Pharmacist licenses in multiple states (or be highly willing and eligible to obtain additional state licensures as needed). Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a compounding pharmacist is preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent attention to accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, sit, and operate compounding equipment. Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring kneeling, crouching, or reaching.
